The Reichstag

DQ and I went to Berlin the other week.

We saw amazing architecture - the most impressive of which (for me) had to be the Reichstag. I'm a sucker for big glass structures and this is big. It was a lovely, clear evening so I was able to get some fab shots. Obviously this is the dome.

and this is the view of the city from the top of the dome.

The structure itself is astonishing. It's so light and airy without being cold and clinical.

I just couldn't stop taking shot's - the lines and reflections are really inspiring. I'm not sure where it's going to go yet. I need to work on it some more but at the moment I'm busy with other projects but no doubt I'll come back to this at some point.

Thank you. The building is stunning. I didn't really have to do anything other than point my camera and press the button.

This is beautiful. What an interesting building. I'd love to see that one day! I still don't have the hang of the night photos.

amazing building! Damp stretching should be done after every stage, doesn't matter how often. Now I am curious to know what you are damp stretching!

Wendy - I'm not sure I have the hang of them either but thank you. It's a fantastic building. If you get the chance to go,you really should see it.

Karen - thanks for the advice. At the moment I'm not damp stretching anything - I need to buy some plywood. However if you keep watching that may change.
