Above is the "Pieta" made from beech and brass. It was truly beautiful. The wood made it so tactile I found it very moving.Below is some of the sketching I did whilst I was sat in quiet contemplation.

Another weekend, another cathedral
Yesterday I caught the train to Durham to look at the cathedral. It was a gorgeous day and I was looking forward to spending the afternoon sketching and photographing. These are some of the high lights.
