There I was cracking through my work - knitting and paintings were coming on a treat. And then I came down with tonsillitis. Holy heck was I in pain. One morning I woke up at 2am in agony and I couldn't take any pain relief until 5am. Fun. So I spent alot of the end of last week and the weekend sleeping. However Monday, I felt brighter. I had an early start and went for High Maintenance coffee. Hmmmmm. After that I was invincible. I got Em's cardi finished and packaged up, did a whole load of other jobs and worked on some still lifes.
Number 3's done but I'm not happy with it so no image I'm afraid. I've also played with some oil pastels -
I'm not convinced by these either but am less shy at showing these. I know they're not as good as the paintings but drawing "proper" things with oil pastels is still a bit new to me so I accept that these are still a work in progress.
I've also had a realisation. I anticipate Print to be my weakest rotation so, as long as I pass, anything else is a bonus. And I can't fail as long as I turn up and do the work. So for this rotation I'm going to relax and have fun.
