Is it really Tuesday?

I can't believe how time is just slipping by. Has it really been a week since I last posted?!

Despite setting out to achieve a list of jobs, I've made little headway. Last week I was despairing of myself for not waking up (yes I mean opening my eyes and being conscious) until 10am. Yes you read that right. In fact on one occasion it was 10.30. 9.30 on a non-school day I can live with, but this was starting to get silly. My lovely Rose was the voice of reason and had pointed out I'd been ill in the run up to my Easter break so I was a little more gentle on myself. I'd make myself a pot of coffee, turn on my computer, poke around on Rav and knit. Then I'd catch myself a couple of hours later thinking I should be doing something more important before realising that no, no I didn't. It's only in the last few days that I've really got the hang of this dossing around lark.

I've not been entirely idle, I've done some reading and alot of knitting. I've started some spinning projects and I've been doing some of the paintings I need to do for Print when I'm back at Uni. (Pictures to follow - I ran out of decent light today). I was also visited by Britswitch over the Easter weekend and we did some other bits and pieces. Mainly we sat in our jammies and planned world domination whilst knitting.

I guess I'm feeling that I should have got more done by now. I know, I know, I'm on holiday. There is no timetable but even so .....

Today was the day of 2/5ths.

I've got the second of 5 paintings finished and I've finished the left side of the front of the cardigan I'm knitting, leaving the second half and 2 sleeves to do. I.e. I've finished 2/5ths of that too. Maybe I'll get it done before the weekend. I'll let you know.

And there was me thinking I may be bored in these three weeks!
